iPod touch 3: Lock Button Jammed

My Itouch lock button is jammed and I can't turn it off or lock the screen. I've had the iPod for almost 6 years so I know the warranty is expired. Is there a way I could fix it? Can Apple still fix or trade an iPod touch 3?

By the way it's engraved, so idk if I can even trade it in because of that.

And the Jammed Lock Button isn't from dropping, I've had the itouch for almost 6 years, so I believed its jammed from the 6 years of usage on the button.
