Wrong Motherboard.... Care To Help?

I have a friends iMac that I have worked on before. I have never replaced a logic board. I see that mac's are very specific on this. I did a lot of reading, at least I thought so. Everything seems to match up on the numbers, but its doesn't have the slot area, to the left of the temp sensor. Now I don't mind doing some soldering, but I think I just wasn't smart enough to read everything.... Would anyone care to chime in, and let me know what one I should have got? I would post some pics but I guess we cant do that here? Thanks for any help.

Its an iMac late 2009, logic board 820 2494-A. I had him order the same one, but it dont have the same slots... I will see if I can post some pics when I get home in a couple of hours:) That's the guide I used too, thank you!

The logic board appears to be correct but I can't identify the device plugged into the slot at the upper left of that photo. Do you know what it is?

Im sorry to say, Im not a mac person at all....lol I know this is the back of the board, so thats the part that went up to the top right. I will get a better picture when I get home today. Thank you!!

His iMac is the model with the dedicated ATI video card. The replacement logic board doesn't have that slot because it apparently uses the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M GPU, not a separate card.

It may work as is; you'll have to find out.
