Pages won't save my documents

When I try to save a document, it's giving me an error that says "couldn't auto-save document." This is after I hit CMD+S and type in the name I want to save it under, etc., so I'm not sure why it's saying "auto-save." So now I have a bunch of untitled documents running because I'm trying to work and I can't save any of them. Please advise.
