Texting on laptop??

Hi, So I just upgraded to the newest version of Mavericks and now whenever I get a text on my Iphone a pop up comes up on my laptop and it's the text. I went to settings, messages, send/receive and nothing is checked except for my phone number.. But I am still getting those pop ups.. Please help!

I think you may be referring to Notifications on the computer. Open Notifications preferences to configure your settings.
