Are iMessages logged anywhere? iCloud? Need to see the list of #'s my teenager has been texting. When iMessage is used it's not listed on the cell phone bill. This is NOT a good feature for us parents who are trying to keep our kids out of trouble.
iCloud. Sign into to iMessage on her iCloud. If you are sharing the same apple account, Settings>Messages>Select her number or her email. If her number or email doesn't show up. Turn off and back on into iMessage.
There is no logged history of iMessages except on the device itself.
There is no iMessage icon on the iCould page. There's Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find My iPhone, Pages, Numbers, Keynote. These are basically useless except Contacts and Find phone. Is there some other iCloud page I don't know about?
I was afraid of this. Not good news when they can delete the text string in the swipe of a finger.
Unfortunately, that is one of the drawbacks when it comes to iMessage, however this can also identify issues with honesty and responsibility on the part of the child with the parent. I hope you are able to talk to them and they understand why it is you are trying to protect them. Good luck,.
