itunes 11.2.2 crashes as soon as I click on anything.

Itunes opens but as soon as I try to do anything (search, play a song) I get the wheel and have to force quit. When I force quit it does not say it is not responding and does not generate an error message. This has happened ever since I loaded 11.2.2

I am on mac mini using OS 10.6.8
