Am i not eligible for free downloading of imovie and similar apps? I bought a new iPhone 5S so as a first time user am I not entitled to get the apps?

Hi,

Recently i purchased iPhone 5S and i was informed that I am entitled for free downloads of the apps made by Apple like iPhoto, iMovie etc, I have managed to download iPhoto for free but other apps are paid apps and i cannot shell out that amount of money. How can I get access to the downloads of these apps?
