I know there is electricity emitting from the wall outlet as other non-Apple products work when plugged in. So the charger is magnetized and connected to the port on my laptop and it's plugged in, but the amber light does not shine. Any ideas? Thank you.
For basic troubleshooting, see:Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters and also try to borrow a charger for the MacBook and see if that works. If that is not possible, take the MacBook and charger to an Apple store genius bar and have them test them to see what is faulty.
