My main external is suddenly an EFI Boot ?

Backstory : late `06 iMac is replaced with late `09, by dear friends.

`06 had nearly 700 gbs on the HD and replacement held "500",

so an external is where everything resides and what I boot to.

Also, was happy jumping from Leopard to Snow Leopard, and not to Lion on the native `09 HD.

( too many changes, and too many apps neutered ! )

I just ran Disk Warrior on a clone of my main boot external, and then on the main one, because after upgrading the main to Snow, the clone was still Leopard and cloning Snow was overdue.

Restarting with "option" held, I see the familiar array of bootable choice : on the far left "EFI Boot" ( w/ Lion )

But now my main external is also named EFI, replacing it's actual name which has always shown before !

Is this a glitch worrisome enough to look into . . and also . . why ?

B.S. -- Here's an earlier discussion on it, but the "fix" is "not found"
