i need help with water damage and problems with my iphone.
If it is water damaged and not responding to any of those things you have tried, you need to take it to an Apple store genius bar for an out-of-warranty replacement, in the US that will cost $149 for the iPhone 4.
ok but i will i be able to get all my content off the phone😐
Have you backed it up recently?

Do you have a backup of your contents? When the iPhone showed the screen with the USB cable and said to connect to iTunes, it had already entered the recovery mode which means all content had been erased. So you need a backup from before the water damage and problems started to get your contents back.
i have an icloud and other apple devices and i have backed it up but not recently
You will be able to restore a new device to the last backup you did....

what should i do if my iphone 4 has water damage and the lock and home button doesn't work and it says to plug it into itunes and to restore and update it when i restored and updated it 3 or 4 times already? What should i do?
