My flash light has not been able to turn off since last monday on my iPhone 4.

It first started off dim, but then was full brightness. Even when the phone is off or even dead, the light stays on. Now it is overheating and smells burnt. The light has now turned to a blue dot but still overheats. Any ideas on what I should do? This is also draining the battery!
