After Upgrading OS to 10.9.4 Apple TV won't Play Content

iMac 2.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4Gb Memory

After upgrading my system software I now get a black spinner on my Apple TV screen when I try to play content I purchased from the iTunes store. It wasn't doing this before the upgrade. I checked to make certain my computer is authorized and it is. Any ideas how to fix this?
