Don't want to restore or back up new Iphone

I have a new Iphone and set it up via Icloud. I have been using it for three months but today I decided that I wanted to load some of my old playlists off my computer. When I plugged my phone into my computer it asked to set up as new or restore from a back up. I don't want to restore my old data. I am worried that if I set up as a new phone it will delete all my current data (last three months) off my phone. Is there any way that I can bypass this step?
