I'm getting different amounts of loops available on different projects

Hey there

I've got Garageband on my iPad and Mac. I've recently begun the process of exporting the .band projects from the iPad to the Mac.

I downloaded the complete library of loops from MainStage and succesfully have the instruments and loops working on Garageband. If I start a new project in Garageband, I have 13350 loops in the library.

However, if I open a .band file from my iPad, some of the files have the full loop library available in Garageband, but some have as little as 10801 available. The numbers vary.

Can anyone explain what's causing this to happen and why I'm losing loops on certain projects? It's the loops that are missing that I want for the project!

Thanks in advance.

Have you "Keyword Browsing > Filter for more relevant results" enabled in your GarageBand preferences "Loops" tab? Then the selection of loops you are seeing in the loops browser will depend on the key of your song. Disable this option.
