iPhone does not turning on

my iPhone 5 cannot turn on. if switch to a wall charger it keeps the apple logo on and slowly switching off again with a half green color background and half purple light on background. I did try to connect to mac computer but iTunes did not recognized it. iTunes is updated and nothing happened. tried to reboot nothing happened. please help
