Apple ID won't let me change the email I send my 'reset security questions' thing to. How am I able to do this? Thanks

The alternate email I had was ********** but the link for resetting the security questions made it **********, which ain't a real email address and I can't make it one either 😟 Halp...

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove the email addresses from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).


You won't be able to change your rescue email address (an alternate email address is different) until you can answer your questions, you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security


When they've been reset you can then use the steps on this page to change your rescue email address for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses

Or, if it's available in your country, you could change to 2-step verification : Frequently asked questions about two-step verification for Apple ID
