Is the FCP 10.1.2 compatible with Mac Pro early 2008?

Hello, my question is: Supports the new version 10.1.2 with a Mac Pro early 2008?

With the 10.0.8 works fine with 10.1.x playback is jerky while exports fine.

I've tried almost all the recommendations of the forum to no avail. I updated the graphics card drivers, reinstalled the app, deleted preferences, ... The result is always the same playback is jerky making the program unusable.

Any clues?

You give no details at all about what is potentially the main culprit.

Jerky playback is often caused by using an incompatible video format or multiple tracks filled with effects.

So exactly what are the specs of your video files and projects?

With any video format. Playback is jerky with the previewer or the timeline.

What Ian said, plus: what drive are you using to store your media? The system drive is not recommended. In your setup the best would be a second internal drive. But please answer Ian's questions.
