iMac 2011 10.9.4 Maveric
There is a folder with MOV files. Today i've open it and approximetly half of them became blank and i cannot open them - it goes like - this files used by OS X and cannot be opened. ***!!!
I need help as soon as possible. ITs very important footage for the show.

The first three of those files are empty. You would have to restore them from a backup, if you have one.
Its impossible i've just edit them 2 day before. How could they be dissapeared. The only thing i did - update to 10.9.4
b.t.w. where i can check backups?
I don't know why the files are empty, but they are. I also don't know what backups you have. If you don't know either, then you have no backups. Without backups, data loss is inevitable. There is such a thing as data recovery, but it's a job for professionals, and their services are very expensive.
