Podcasts will now not sync.

ITunes has stopped syncing my podcasts to ipod classic, although music syncs fine. ITunes recognizes my ipod I have checked (and unchecked and re-checked) the boxes on podcast pane, and have checked "apply". No help. Used to work fine. Now I cannot get ITunes to sync any podcasts. Thanks.
