I have a 500gb WD external hard drive, it use to work but no it will not show up on my mac pro 13 inch, it works fine on my iMac, any chance this can be fixed? All USB ports work fine.
Does the enclosure or HD show in System Report under USB?
Does the USB port work for other external HDs?
Have you tried resetting the SMC and PRM?

Sorry wasn't sure where to post never posted before. Sorry but i don't understand what SMC or PRM is. I don't have any other external drives to drive. USB sticks work and Memory cards work fine.
