On a Mac Book Pro. Can get on the iTunes Store in iTunes . is the server down ?
There are no problems listed on this page : https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ (though that doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't any)
You've gone through the troubleshooting on the other thread that you posted on : Can't connect to the iTunes Store ?
