My iphone shows an iOS 7.1.2 update available but here is no update button on the screen
My iphone 4S says that the iOS 7.1.2 is available however there here is no update now button on the screen. I would welcome some advice.

If you are currently on an iOS below 5.0, then you have to hook it up to iTunes on the computer you sync with to do the update.
If you are on iOS 5 or higher, check your restrictions to make sure that you do not have them turned on for installing apps.
