My 5S iCloud backup won't turn on.

My 5S iCloud backup won't turn on. I have most recent O/S and WiFi connected. I tried deleting two existing backups - one said 0 KB and one 909KB. Now I have 5GB available showing so looks like nothing is backed-up. I have 2 GB of space used so not a lot. Setting>icloud>Storage & Backup . . and I can't slide iCloud Backup on. What's up?

If the phone was provided by your employer, or you have added your employers exchange email account to your phone, you employer may have pushed a security profile to it preventing it from backing up to iCloud. You would need to check with your employer's IT department to confirm this.
