iPad Twitter Settings Rejects Twitter Username/Password

I can log in to any Twitter App or in Any Browser, but in the iPad Settings, it says "wrong username and password" - I need it to be accepted there as some apps use the settings there to post to your Twitter feed, is this a know issue with the iOS? (I am running the latest version and have an iPad Mini)
