Is there a way to download apps to my ipad 1. It keeps saying i have to grade to ios 7 to download apps but the ipad 1 wont let you get ios 7

Some developers allow you to download older compatible versions of their apps. If it's a free app then you could try downloading the current version of the app on your computer's iTunes (so that it goes into your purchase history), and then on your iPad see if you can download a compatible version via the Purchased tab in the App Store app. If it's a paid-for app then try contacting the developer first and see if they support downloading older compatible versions (and specifically a version that will work on iOS 5)
