Safari 7.0.5 freeze with Apple magic trackpad

Since the last update that took Safari to 7.0.5 I'm getting persistent screen freezes using my Apple Magic Trackpad. Especially problematic is doing the two-finger swipe to move back to the previous page. The screen moves about 50 pixels and then freezes. I can still scroll with the keyboard, or I can input a new URL destination but after hitting "Enter" on the keyboard the new URL appears to load but the screen doesn't change. I have NO extensions on this computer (I even turned extensions off) and this is still happening. Any ideas?
