iTunes Radio: Why can't I replay a song or jump to next song without limits?

I don't really get iTunes Radio. You can't replay a song you like that you just heard, and you can't jump to the next song if you've exceeded the built-in limit Apple has imposed on the number of times you can jump to the next song.

Basically, iTunes Radio is like the iTunes Store music previews, except you get to hear the whole song.

As a result of this, I rarely use iTunes Radio anymore. There are so many other better services out there, I find it odd that this is what Apple thinks is a good way to run their radio service. I think the people who created iTunes Radio are the same people that created Ping.
