My husband got a new iPad Mini and needs to add a business app to it. This app is on the old iPad 2 and in the library but will not download. He also has this app on his iPhone 4S.
have him sign in to the app store using the same Apple ID and password as on the Mini, go to Purchases and he should be able to redonwload the app on the new unit.
As long as he is using his Apple ID used to purchase the app before, it is available for him to download again for free.
did he start another Apple ID?
was it purchased on someone else's Apple ID?
We share a library and it looks like this app was purchased under my ID. He also has the app on his phone. It's a free app so I'm not worried about money but about if there is any information that stays with that app instead of going with his login.
