FaceTime Version 3.0 or 1.0.5

Hi All,

I've had my late-2013 Apple iMAC since April, 2014 and I love it to be honest. My system is OS X 10.9.4

I've just been browsing the App Store and saw the FaceTime App. Looking at it, there is a different version listed compared to the version already installed on my iMAC from new.

My Version - 3.0 (1651)

App Store Version - 1.0.5

Which version is best? Is there any difference?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Ignore the Mac App Store version. It's only there for people who are running 10.6.8; FaceTime is an OS component in 10.7 and newer.
