Importing from Iphone to MacBook Pro

I recently imported some pictures from my iphone to my macbook pro, but now i can't view the pictures. I've never had this problem before, and I was wondering what could i do to fix the problem?

Did you import them into iPhoto?

Yes, I also tried doing the latest update on my computer and it still wont work.

Also, when I scroll iPhoto up and down really fast I can see the pictures, but when i double click the picture I can't see it.
