can't transfer rental from iPad to iTunes

Hello!

I rented two movies in iTunes, downloaded them seemingly on a correct way as they both showed in my rentals, then transferred them into my iPad to see them later, but that latter never came, so I proceeded to transfer them back by connecting the iPad to my computer, there in iTunes one movie appeared with the right cover (while still in the iPad window) and the other with a strange movie icon, the one with the movie cover had both buttons (move and delete) the other only appeared as delete, I tried to play the movie in the iPad but it would not work, the first movie I successfully transferred back to iTunes but the second is like in limbo. I do not know what to do because when I say delete on the iPad contents in iTunes, it tells me that if I delete it I will have to rent it again.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
