Hi there.
We're about to launch a program on iPad Air. The iPad Airs are to be wall mounted in a
perspex kiosk and a slot has been cut so that headphones can be plugged in if
necessary.
Can you suggest any headphones for this type of multi-user use that have a long narrow plug that
will be long enough to be plugged in and out when the iPads are mounted on the
wall in their holders.
I would favour running an audio extension cable from the iPad phone socket to a jack mounted on the outside of the kiosk. There would then be no problem with choice of headphone, and more importantly no physical access to the iPad's headphone port. Gum, anyone...?

Could you advise me on where to buy an audio extension cable as I've been to a couple of retailers and they don't seem to know what I'm talking about.

Any retailer that sells audio cables. About six per high street I would have thought. eBay and Amazon are stuffed with the things. Let's make sure we're talking about the same thing:
Drill a hole in your perspex case, glue the socket end of the cable into it. Simple.
