Need help with iTunes on my Macbook Pro

iTunes keeps freezing up on me every time it tries searching for devices.

I ended up turning wifi off and opening iTunes. Then it functions. But how in the world to I get iTunes to stop searching for devices.

It used to work but It doesn't anymore.
