my ipod is nano 6th generation.it is not playing any songs in it :( may i know the reason

my ipod is not playing any songs in it. i restored it to factory settings and synchronized it again,but it is of no use.it is still in the same condition

Welcome to the Support Communities! Are you syncing with a PC or a Mac? If you have confirmed that the songs have synced to your device, have you checked the sound settings to make sure there is not an issue?

No sound from headphones*

  • Check the volume setting.
  • Try adjusting the volume by pressing the volume buttons.
  • Try another song or audio file.
  • Try another headset.
  • Reset iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down buttons until you see the Apple logo appears.
