Will a early 2011 a1297 battery work in my mid 2009 macbook pro

I need to replace my battery in my mid 2009 macbook pro a1297 w89340wh91t and I am trying to find the right battery to buy. I am having no luck finding the right battery online, but I did come across a battery that was taken out of the 2011 a1297 model and I wanted to know if it would work. Thanks in advance for any help.

I strongly recommend that you have your MBP battery rep[laced by Apple. You will have the correct battery, it will work and have a warranty.

Third party batteries have often proven to be totally unsatisfactory and I have my doubts that the 2011 battery will fit in your MBP.
