Errors with bootcamp- "Your bootable USB drive could not be created"

I'm working on building a high-end gaming desktop, but for now I need to play on my macbook pro. I'm trying to use bootcamp to play games.

I downloaded a free copy of Windows 7 from this website:

http://getintopc.com/softwares/operating-systems/windows-7-ultimate-free-downloa d-iso-32-and-64-bit/

The 64-bit version.

So, I try to run bootcamp and I get this message in the first few steps of the process:

"Your bootable USB drive could not be created: An error occurred while formatting the disk."

Anyone know what causes this/how to fix it?

I'm on a 13-inch 2012 Macbook Pro running OS X 10.9.4.

I was having the same issues on mine but I finally figured it out..

The problem is that we are trying to create the bootable USB using the Win7 ISO file that is stored on the USB..

All you need to do is move the ISO file somewhere onto your MacBook..

Then unmount the ISO using Disk Utilities (Right click and remove) and then run Boot Camp..

My USB was formatted to FAT32.. Not sure if it needs to be for it to work?
