Creating Phasing In Regions in Logic X

Hello Logicheads:

Perhaps this is a silly question, but I was listening to Steve Reich's Music For 18 Musicians the other day, and I would like to know if it is possible to approximate the phasing of inputs to a performance using Logic? e.g., layering guitar parts over one another and then have then have each element slowly go out of phase with each other ...

If this does not make sense, let me know and I'll try to clarify.
