add a proxy root ca certificate in configuration profile

Hello,

I have added our internal network proxy root CA certificate to a configuration profile and successfully deployed to the iphone (IOS 7.1.2) using the iphone configuration utility. The CA certificate is shown as trusted in the profiles.

However when connecting to a https site in safari via the network proxy, still a popup message saying the identity of the site cannot be verified. The https traffic is intercepted by the proxy and the certificate is signed by the proxy root CA. As the proxy root CA certificate is installed and shown as trusted under profiles, this popup message should not be seen.

Looks like it is no more possible to add additional root CA certificates to the iphone ?
