im not getting the confirmation email for app store

If after trying what Diavonex suggested the issue remains then try this:
- go to https://appleid.apple.com
- select "manage your apple id" and sign in
- on the next page choose to resend verification email
Again check your emails to see if it has come through. If issue persists I'd suggest contacting the Apple Account Security Team for further assistance:
