HELLO guyss,i know its not the place to ask western digital questions
i just bought a new wd mybook 4tb,but its a little confusing for me,because it has exacly 4tb space to use,but in normall it has to have about 3.6tb space
is there a problem with that?

no, there’s no problem with that; a portion of the disk will be used to hold the filesystem structure.
Have you used Disk Utility to format your 4 TB drive? Or did it come from the factory with a journaled HFS+ filesystem for use on Macs?
no,i formatted it with the wd utility app
do you think i should do that with disk utility?

I haven’t used the WD formatting utility, so I can’t comment on it. Disk Utility is certainly able to format disks so that they have journaled HFS+ filesystems.
