lost data and contacts of iphone5 after update

I have an apple account which I use to download apps , I did two updates before and they were totally fine , but this time I did it

and I had to connect to iTunes to restore the phone , after I found out that all my data is not there , I used the same account but it wasn't successful .

please advice ?
