How do I delete a bookmark with my Macbookpro running SAFARI 10.6
How do I delete a bookmark? I tried opening bookmarks, highlighting the one I want to delete, and hitting the delete button, but it did not work. Any suggestions?

What app are you using?
Can you right click (or hold ctrl + click) & select delete?
Does selecting a bookmark & using the 'Edit menu > Delete' work?
What you describe should work in Safari but it may not be the same in all browsers or apps.
