After updating my 4S and 5 to ios 7.1.2, I discovered a huge security hole. While the phone is password locked, by sliding open the camera then hitting the phone's button, it closes the camera and opens the phones app screens giving full access to the phone.
I tried to call Apple to let them know about this security issue but the wanted me to pay before connecting me to a live person, so here it is for everyone to see.

Yes. The security hole is yourself. Do you have a password on your phone? What your are claiming is not true.
Yes, of course I have a password on my phone. This is not an isolated problem on one phone as several people in my office have the same issue.
I Cannot replicate this. I swipe to open the camera from the lock screen, press the home button, and I get back to the lock screen. I am on 7.1.2 With a 5s.
Cannot replicate it either. On a 4S, 5, or 5s. Multiple phones of each type. All running 7.1.2.

This issue was repaired in the following releases of iOS 7. They are well aware of it.
He said he is using 7.1.2, which is the latest iOS.
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he has a timer on the lock, so us trying to replicate won't do anything on something that is already fixed.

You know, timer? Like when it asks if you want to require the passcode immediately or after 15 minutes. That could be why he is able to get around the lock while going through the camera on the lock screen.
He said "while the phone is password locked." And what has that got to do with Apple updating this in later versions? You aren't making the least bit of sense.
Apple fixed it in 7.0.1. The problem is no longer there. Can you understand that?
