Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I just updated my 5s and after installation it immediately came back with "NO SIM installed". I tried rebooting and nothing is different. The battery is hot as well. I am not going to remove/reinsert my sim card because it is not the problem! This update has rendered my phone useless!
I would like someone from Apple to provide me with a solution.
This is a user to user support forum. If you would like someone from Apple to provide you with a solution, then you will need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar to bring the phone in for them to look at, or you can make a call to Apple Care.

You need not be sorry for posting in the forum. This is where you can get a great deal of help. I was just telling you that Apple does not participate in the forum, and your post requested help from Apple. You cannot get that here. Chris, so I as supposed to pay twenty dollars to Apple Care to fix a no Sim message that came immediately after Apple told me to update my iPad to 7.1.2?
That decision would be up to you. I provided the OP a support document to use regarding No SIM, and you can take advantage of that as well. If you do not want to contact Apple Care, you have the option to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store, and that is free.
