can anyone please help. I have borrowed iPod classic to download music from it. How do I download all the music from the iPod classic without clearing everything on my iTunes account and all of my music. Im desperate can anyone please help with this cos Im pulling my hair out with it
You cannot.
iPods are designed to Sync with one iTunes Library at a time. Making a copy for yourself, of music that someone else has purchased is illegal.
And yet....just to be clear........you can ALWAYS LISTEN to music another person owns on their device.
Just to be clear - the question posed by hopity.I specifically mentions downloading music from a borrowed iPod, not simply listening to its content.
As mentioned to you previously, your interpretations of the law do not make that law ineffective. All you do with posts such as this is create confusion in the mind of anyone reading this thread. Why would you do that?
You are correct. It is illegal to copy songs from one I-Pod owned by one person to another I-Pod owned by someone else.

There is a distinction: One is LEGAL and one is NOT.
