VPN is the only way for me to play Pandora and Sonza as I'm abroad. I'm about to receive a Cambridge Audio minx 200 (airplay&bluetooth speaker), so wondering whether I'll be able to cast Pandora and Songza while using VPN. If not, is there a workaround? I don't want to spend $20 on a smart DNS service. Thanks.
There should be no issue. BT and your Wifi internet access (through a VPN) are unrelated.
The Airplay feature through BlueTooth should be unaffected by the usage of a VPN.

Airplay through Wifi may depending on your VPN's configuration.
Technically unless your VPN is very greedy and routes even local network connections, it should not be an issue either.
Just got the Minx 200, I confirm that I can play Pandora and Songza with VPN and Airplay, no need to change any settings.
