iPad Air still not getting HD from Netflix

I recently purchased an iPad Air.


It is running 7.1.2


I am a AT&T U-Verse subscriber with an average of Download speed of 18.20 Mbps according to speakeasy.net


My older iPad 2, my wife's iPad (can't remember which one but it is the last generation that had retina display but not an Air), my Playstation Vista, my PS3 all street Netflix beautifully in HD. My iPad Air, on the other hand, is a blocky pixilated SD mess.


I've done several google attempts to see if there are any solutions to this issue. It seems there was a lot of chatter about this from December 2013 to February 2014, but not much since. There seemed to be anecdotal solutions such as "Wait till Comcast and Netflix work it out" to change your QoS settings on your router, to "download chrome"??? None of which worked for me or applied to my ISP.


Is there any clear cut solution to this issue?
