Ok, weird yet specific question, which may not entirely have to do with FCP... Is there a way to, when exporting a video, to export it so you can get a specific frame as the file's icon? I want the titles of my edits to appear as the icons so people playing them know what they are playing without having to ask me. The problem I am having is exporting these to a tablet. The icons change.
I don't think it's possible.
You could send feedback requesting it . . . but you might have to wait years . . . or forever.
In the olden days I believe it was possible to open a video in QuickTime Player and change the poster frame.
I've just done a bit of checking and it appears you can only do it if you have QuickTime 7 Pro.
