I am running mac os 10.7.5
I have Qiucken 2007 for mac (unusable for quite some time).
Can I download Quicken Mac 2007 OS X Lion? It is a compatible re-engineered version of Quicken Mac 2007 that will work on OS X 10.7 (Lion). See it here:

I do not have Quicken Essentials. Do I need it?

Quicken Essentials is generally loathed by most members of this forum who have experience with it, in favor of Quicken 2007 for Mac Intel (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mt. Lion, Mavericks)
