iPhone 5 Voicemail How do I give callers the option to bypass the outgoing message?

On an iPhone 5 with Verizon. My outgoing message has to be lengthy. I want to give callers the option of bypassing the message if they wish. Is there a way of doing that? I have experienced this option with other Voice Mail systems.
